Very good fried fish, and their 1 pound lobster roll it's worth every penny!

Placed an order for dinner. Went back to add to the order and both the cook and waitresses were scoffing and annoyed by the request. Cook did not want to have to add to the original order placed and the restaurant was not busy. Then when we were wanting to wait for our food, they asked us to wait outside so we couldn’t watch the food being cooked. Cancelled entire order and got a full refund. Will NEVER eat here again. Horrible service for mediocre food.

Fresh and delicious seafood with reasonable prices and quick service. The fried seafood isn't heavy and the portions are reasonable. They also offer non-fried options and the grilled salmon was flavorful and delicious. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available and they will call your number when the food is ready. A great stop for seafood on the Cape.

Fried fish. JUICY. flame grilled burgers.take put or sit on the patio with music. Cleanliness. Perfect. This place ia a ten! The haddock sandwich explodes in your mouth with inch thick fish. 8 bucks with tax! Im ashamed of Peters poor review. Im local. 40 years. Been to the "old" place. Great seafood on somewhat of a budget. The clam chowder was awesome as well as everything else we sampled. You can't go wrong here

The food is better than average but the scallops lacked some flavor. The fish and chips was tasty. The onion rings are so thin and fall apart easy but do taste good.

I grew up on the Cape, and I can tell you that Original Seafood is consistently great. After years and years, this is still one of my go-to places for fried seafood. Service is friendly, and the food is always delicious and reasonably priced.

Food was good. Prices were reasonable. Only issue was we got there around 9:10 they said only Togo orders, which was fine. But we were waiting for my son to order and the one girl was very harsh and rude trying to rush us. She was in a hurry to clean and get out. Other girls were nice but you could tell she has worked there longer by the way she was talking to everyone and walking around miserable.

The whole belly fried clams plate was delicious. 😍The hadock sandwich was massive. 😮The scallops platter looked amazing. The portions won't leave you hungary.😁the atmosphere is very casual amd laid back. The "Got Tarda?" T-shirts the staff wwre wearing were also appreciated.😊

This place is absolutely one of the tastiest restaurants in the region. Whenever I come to this place I am remarkably happy. They maintain their very high standard service and the topmost level of cooking they provide. You surely will enjoy this this restaurant. Highly recommended.

Unforgettable and always spot on. We got our annual lobster bomb with onion rings to share. Several extremely large chunks of lobster mixed in and not too much mayo. Indulgent but delicious onion rings.

Traditional style with reasonable price

My favourite fried food restaurant on the Cape.The fish sandwich (haddock) we had was freshly made as were the large, shared portion of onion rings. For me it's all about the onion rings - crispy and not over-greasy plus the large portion was enough for three of us (though if my husband had been there he would have eaten a large portion all by himself)! I love the fact they are open throughout the year as I'm usually on the Cape for Thanksgiving so thank you for that 😀

Best fried clams in the area. Pick up your order and drive down to the beach, just up the street, for dinner with a view! The onion rings are great too!

Wait was long but food was good

Closing at 730 doesn’t mean 7:10. If your employees can’t handle working till close. You should consider new employees. Just saying. Out of Towner looking to try the place. Your loss. Somewhere else is getting your money tonight

What a great surprise this place is considering how unassuming the restaurant looks from the outside. We thought this would be another greasy seafood place like Korean n Kone but it is much better! The fried scallops and fried clams with bellies were fried perfectly, not greasy at all and delicious. K n K upcharged clam orders by $2.50 but Original only charges $1.00 more for clams for the same plate and it tastes a lot better. K n K clams were tiny and tasteless. The fried haddock was the best we’ve had - fresh, flaky and perfectly light batter and fry. Clam chowder is not overly thickened with flour nor watery - it is just the right creamy consistency. Lots of locals eating here and not the ridiculous line in other places. Wish I found this place at the beginning of my vacation. They also have lobster rolls, broiled seafood, chicken and burgers if you’ve had enough seafood. Highly recommend.

Staff are lazy food is sub par. While waiting for food I watched 3 differant people come in and ask for a fork as it was not provided in the take out. You would think that after having 3 differant people ask you for a fork that you would put them in the order not so staff to busy doing nothing as sure enough my order had no fork, which would have been ok but eating Cole slaw is a little messy without a fork!

Good food, fast and efficient service. Good location, plenty of parking. No lines.

Delicious , prices great, service is good, friendly atmosphere. Relaxed, yet great food. For a night of good food with out dressing up. I was working on my new house all day and didn’t eat. At about 7pm my stomach was screaming for food. Went here, went to the counter and gave my order. Given a number. Called my number soon enough. Onion rings are homemade and delicious. 👍👍👍👍👍. Scallops are amazing. Loved the place.

Food was great. Had fish nuggets and added the side. We had two of these one with onion rings which was a $1. 75 extra one other, potato fries, that one they added 4.99. When we asked afterwards they said that was more money, never told us when we did the order. Make sure you ask the $ when ordering

I have been going here for many years. Food is good. Fish nuggets were great. Also, they have 2 craft beers on tap that are always great.

Fish so fresh you could smack it! Got chowdah! If you’re on Cape Cod and you want fresh seafood fried broiled. This is the place to go. If you don’t like fish or seafood they have the best burger on the Cape. Bring the family and order the seafood frenzy nobody will be left hungry! Not to mention the shakes are thick and creamy and delicious. Do not pass this place up

I have been going to this place for years. I have NEVER had anything bad from this place. The kids love the chicken fingers and fries and I love the haddock plate. We love the onion strings. You can dine in or get take out. We are usually do take out. Everytime we order it's usually no longer than 10-20 min. Amazing food, quick, you can't get any better than this!

Always consistent with perfect batter on fried sole, haddock, etc and those crispy thin onion rings.

Always open food is good. Used to be a lot better years back. Usually during the summer it's crowded but when you call in for an order and they say 10 minutes? They mean 10 minutes. Food is always ready when they say. I only gave it three stars. Only because I remember the old one that used to be there and it was a lot better. Good tasty food. BUT the last two times we ordered clam strips we bit into a shell. Twice. Be careful and chew slowly...

I've had better at a chain restuarant. It's the worst thing to ever say to a mom and pop type place but it's the truth. Everything in here on the menu is weak, over fried and sometimes come with fried shells in ones oysters which weren't all oysters but mixed fried clams and strips. Being a generic seafood restaurant is okay in a sea of them but being awful is not okay. Lobster rolls are mayo only and theyre are other Seafood restuarants around that are the same price and ten times better.

Fabulous fried hadock sandwiches, perfect batter, reasonably priced, good clam chowder as well. Not to be missed!

I don;t know whats ORIGINAL about this place. Cant be the food. The lobster roll had way too much mayo in it and i didnt appreciate the lettuce filler. There were no nice chunks of lobster in the roll, just the shredded type. For $23 i expected more meat. The onion rings were overly greasy. The cole slaw was lousy. I shudder to think what their $50 lobster bomb is like!

First timer over here having sea food and i had the sword fish. Athough, it took about 20-25 mins to get our order, i was blown away with the taste of it and how polite and patient the staff were when i was ordering.
